Household & decorative stoneware pots & necklaces fired in an electric kiln.

Judy Stevenson is a retired Dentist. She went to a ceramics class in Welbeck, run by Rachel Wood, for a couple of years but sadly the class had to close. She set up her own studio at home in a wooden single garage in her drive. It is small but enough room for her wheel & kiln.

She spends hours in her studio. Her work is mainly thrown stoneware tableware & decorative pots & she loves making necklaces & brooches. She uses commercial glazes & tries to make the surfaces of her work interesting & colourful. Her pots are fired in an electric kiln. She has been making pots for about 8 years.
