Contemporary Textile Wall Art which stretches the boundaries between art and craft.

I became a textile artist after attending three years of Creative Studies at City & Guilds level at South Notts College, Clifton when it was a Centre of Excellence.

I work from my home which is on Stapleford Hill, West Nottingham. Often I’m set up in my dining room which looks out onto my beautiful garden. I often walk out into the nearby woodland and fields which never ceases to spark my imagination to create new work.

The nature of my art requires me to have a ‘stash’. This consists of an extensive collection of new, gifted and pre-used textiles and haberdashery ready to to use as my palate.

My work includes both fixed machine and free stitch machining along with some hand embroidery techniques.
