I am a landscape historian with a special interest in the long-term shaping of the English landscape and the relationships forged between communities and their local environments in the past and present.
My photographs, like my research, shun the sublime, in favour of more ‘ordinary’ landscapes. This is my first Open Studios Notts outing. I shall be exhibiting 24 of my landscape portraits in my Upton cottage.
