Lesley Pearson is a contemporary artist working in Watercolour, Pen and inks making drawings, sketches and illustrated maps.
Beginnings: My first memories of drawing were from my schooling in Melbourne Australia, where they took seriously the introduction of drawing, sculpture and painting skills. My vocation became realised upon gaining a Fine Art Hons. SHU 2007 – Sheffield Hallam University.
History: My studio and our home was a narrowboat called Hekla; this led me to become a travelling artist, sketching and illustrating wildlife, alongside making illustrated maps of our journeys.
Exhibitions : Over the past few years I have exhibited, at Hoxton Arches Gallery, London, The National Waterways Museum, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool Biennial, to list a few….
