Narrative paintings and drawings inspired by childhood memories, fairy stories and 1970’s stop-frame animations.
Jackie graduated from NTU in Fine Art, completing an MA at ARU (2007). Solo shows include Living Rooms, Angelus Gallery, Winchester College (2019), Lost’, Rabley Gallery, Marlborough (2017), ‘Perfume and Savages’, Lakeside Arts Centre, Nottingham (2014) and ‘Unnatural Selection’, Derby Museum & Art Gallery (2002). Has exhibited in Athens, Seoul, Chicago, Stockholm and India. Invited to show at the Scottish Royal Academy annual show (2022). Awards include RSA Maude Gemmell Huchinson Prize, Rabley ‘SKETCH 2013 main prize (2013), RA Summer Show (2010, 2016, 2017, 2021), the London Group Open (2017). Short-listed for the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize (2019, 2021, 2022).
