I trained and worked as a General Nurse. My lifelong love of art led me to do a degree in Fine Art followed by HND Graphic Design. I became designer and studio manager in the publishing industry. Raising my children, the desire to create and paint never left me. For the last 5 years I’ve been exhibiting and selling my work. My studio is the dining room of our home with studio dog Nelly. Its perfect as it leads onto the garden so when the weathers good my studio space extends into the garden. I have a passion for texture and colour, creating atmosphere and emotion in my paintings.
