Denise Coupland is an artist with a passion for textiles, mark making using hand stitch and natural dyes. The majority of the dyes she uses are home grown or sustainably foraged locally.
Denise studied as a mature student at Nottingham Trent University where she received a First Class BA Hons degree in Decorative Arts in 2018. She now works from her home annex studio in East Bridgford.
Originally from the Lake District she developed a love for the outdoors and the natural environment. This love of nature and natural landscapes is a continual source of inspiration for her work.
