Christine Howard trained as a painter obtaining a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Staffordshire University in 1995. Her work is regularly exhibited in solo and group shows.
Using a variety of materials, such as pencil, oil and occasionally precious metals, she depicts the woodlands, fields and animals and insects that inhabit the landscape around her.
Her studio is based on the top floor at the Hub in Retford, a beautiful Georgian building on Cannon Square with a view of St Swithun’s church beyond. Studio visits are warmly welcomed.
