Nature inspired impressionistic watercolour paintings.
A nature inspired artist based in Beeston, Nottingham, I paint in a loose, impressionistic style.
A software engineer in my former career, motherhood provided a natural break and led me to explore a creative path. Another decade on, I continue to enjoy experimenting with different ways of using colour and mark making in my home workspace in the conservatory.
I strive to capture the effect of light on the subject of my painting, whilst maintaining the ever-elusive freshness of the watercolour medium. I run painting classes and workshops locally.
