ABOUT NIKKI MCKAY
Nikki McKay was trained in art and design at Derby, Trent Poly and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and worked as scenic painter and Dance Lecturer. She has had many shows over the years including Worksop gallery, Broadway Cinema, Monticattini Italy, and Newark Museums.
NIKKI MCKAY – STUDIO
I work from a converted cow barn off a court yard attached to our house. I work in it every day either working towards a show or completing commissions in sculptures or paintings which clients choose from my website.
NIKKI MCKAY – WORK
I like working in a variety of mediums including cement, plaster, clay oil paints and recently encaustic. I enjoy depicting ladies large and colourful either dancing or languishing and find the Fauvist ideals of colour to be the most exciting.
