My background is in fashion design, textile design, art & craft, takes me into a broad spectrum of creativity and I have for many years been a part of creative shops and studios in Copenhagen. In my studio you will discover unique fashion designs, accessories, homeware, artistic ceramics all made within the philosophy of playing with colours, mixing humour with elegance, old with new, creating lines and stories. I create in my own mode of expression and I love to create my own inspiration which can be everything from pictures of slimy animals to whimsical drawings and illustrations.

SIGNE SORENSEN – WORK
I make unique pieces of clothes & accessories, cushions, funny donkey, and much more, all within my own mood of expression, out of a mix of feeling the joy of tactile of different fabrics, draping & self produced materials, redesign and storytelling.

- LSjatDS studio, Fashion. Designers Nest catwalk at Copenhagen Fashion Week. The contrasts that I have explored are masculinity/femininity, artificial/natural, maturity/childishness. It becomes a mix of materials, colors, machine knitting and printing on silk.

- LSjatDS studio, Fashion, Copenhagen Fashion Week, What is it to play. I found shapes and nuances in toy-animals and created my process through the concept of play. I felt the joy of the tactile, played with the line on my drawings, draped and worked with colors, lines, material surfaces, knits and prints.
