Sculptural vessels and a range of functional thrown stoneware perfect for sharing food and bringing people together.
The Pottery, Manor House Nurseries, Gainsborough Road, Everton DN10 5BW
My close relationship with nature has changed little since my childhood. At an early age my favourite pastime was playing in a muddy stream, gathering up the clay deposits and sculpting them into organic forms. I could always be found making, sculpting and drawing. This led to me developing my studies in the art field going on to gain a degree in Three Dimensional Design specialising in Ceramics. I have taught art and design in schools and colleges for 25 years. I opened The Pottery in 2019 where I produce my own ceramics and lead pottery classes throughout the week.
