Ann is inspired by her garden full of flowers, the beautiful local landscape and nature generally. Ann has been painting most of her life but more recently has a studio in her garden. Her work leans toward the abstract and Impressionism but most subjects are readily identifiable. She likes to experiment with different media and to paint in vibrant, saturated colour. A Psychiatric Nurse by background, Ann also does some medical illustration and painting. She has done many commissions and has exhibited locally

ANN LEECH – STUDIO

Ann’s studio is a purpose-built garage conversion, with patio doors opening onto the front courtyard and rear French doors opening into the garden of flowers. She works there almost every day and has in the past held art classes.

ANN LEECH – WORK

My work is mainly in watercolour, acrylic or ink with occasional pastels and leans toward abstract Impressionism but the subject is readily identifiable as flowers or landscapes or animals etc. The works range in size from postcard to 4 x 5ft.
