Penny took up painting as a new experience when she retired from being a financial director. She started with watercolour and then was encouraged to try oils. As a member of Doncaster Art Club she enjoys their summer and winter programmes. Painting outdoors has made her loose some of her shyness about showing her work and the winter demonstrations and workshops have broadened her outlook.
